PSR Specialist - Ste. Genevieve County

Job Summary:
Position is responsible for the delivery of rehabilitative services including: community living skills training, recreation/socialization services, pre-vocational skills development, client and family supportive and educational assistance.
Requires a BA/BS/BSW in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation and Counseling or a closely related field.
Relevant mental health experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in initial screening to evaluation appropriateness of clients referred for PSR services.
Participate in development of clients individual treatment plan.
Provide transportation to and from community facilities and resources as a part of treatment plan objectives.
Provide community living skills training including assistance in diet, cooking, shopping, budgeting, housekeeping, use of transportation resources.
Facilitate individual and/or group educational services to teach medication management, how to cope with disabilities, utilization of professional resources.
Provide recreational and socialization activities designed to develop interpersonal skills, provide companionship. Services are to be age appropriate and available in evenings and weekend hours.
Provide crisis intervention services for clients enrolled in PSR services as needed.
Provide pre-vocational services designed to assist clients in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment.
Facilitate supportive re-involvement of client family relationships, peer support systems through individual, family, and group efforts.
Maintain medical record documentation according to CPRC policies and procedures.
Must work a flexible schedule which will include some weekends and evenings.
Other duties as assigned.
Work hours are to be flexible and responsible to client and program needs. Evening and weekend hours will be necessary as scheduled or required by program.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
